Josh is a composer primarily focused on music for the marching arts. Since 2019, he has composed for dozens of marching ensembles across the United States and internationally, spanning competitive high schools, collegiate marching bands, and an award-winning band in Japan.

While classically trained, Josh is known for his modern design approach, integrating fully produced custom sound design into every show. He strives to offer a stress-free option for band directors of all budgets by streamlining the design process so directors can spend more time teaching and less time designing. His shows have earned numerous awards, including a 2023 New Jersey State Championship.

Operating out of Bozeman, Montana, Josh owns Big Sky Music Company and resides nearby in Ennis. Driven to inspire change in the marching arts, he is actively developing new platforms aimed at making high-quality music and design accessible to everyone.

Alongside his composition work, Josh brings a strong technical background rooted in software development, computer networking, and media production.

He studied music production and spent time in recording studios at Kingston University London. Today, his tech background extends into custom website design and development, digital marketing, and video editing for clients, creating polished, story-driven content alongside custom websites.

Having gained early industry experience in network support at Charter Communications, Josh continues to leverage his technical skill set to push the envelope and further integrate modern technology into the marching arts.
